I have used many footstools in my days and the best handsdown is the one made by On-Stage! It is a strong footstool with five adjustable settigs to help you find the right height. Unlike other brands the rubber pads on the bottom dont easily come off making the footstool unbalanced.

The On Stage Pro flip it has a locking mechenism and is great for securing your instruments while being easy to access. I've had one for years and have never had an issue.

While not as sturdy and secure as the locking A-Frame guitar stand, the On Stage XCG4 is a great option for those on a budget.
